Our take

Flat Rocks Campground is a small wooded U.S. Forest Service campground with 19 sites in the Rampart Range area of the Pike National Forest's South Platte Ranger District. It sits within a dense network of OHV trails, making it popular with off-highway vehicle riders as well as tent and small RV campers. A close-in, no-frills option for Front Range campers who want to be near Rampart Range trail access.
